The biggest problem in all of this is puntland. Puntland has cut ties with Mogadishu and any interference what that they consider their backyard will be seen as an infringement. This is an issue for deni remember culusow said he wanted to have peace with the region deni say does this mean his peace Puntland want SSC Khatumo to establish itself as strong state that can stand on its own feet. The problem is due to past experiences Reer Puntland don't trust Khatumo leaders as they suspect if they let them go they might join seccessionists like Xaglatoosiye, Ali Khalif Galaydh and others. At the moment the policy is see and watch, hence not completely against the PM's visit. It is a blow to seccessionist claim over this region and political coup for Khatumo statehood, as well as being the first time a national leader put foot on what used to be called British Somaliland in over 30 years.
