baala xoofto Posted June 11, 2022 Reality is dawning on the pseudo Unionists. If Farmaajo couldn't help them - there is next to zero chance that HSM is going to do any better.

Arafaat Posted June 11, 2022 44 minutes ago, maakhiri1 said: Which ones? Insane and ridiculous? Where shall I start? Well for one, he implies that he supports Somali unity but proposes disunity by carving up Somaliland in to 5 separate regional states along clan lines under a national Mogadishu based government. As if further Somali division would bring one closer to unity, hence why I find this notion ridiculous. Second, he recognises the political and administrative legacy the former British-Somaliland of 1960 with its 6 districts, he recongnises the 5 administrative provinces of 1991, but completely denies the governance and administrative reality of the 1990’s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. He is even against the use of ‘Northern’ regions, denying even the geographical reality. Being against Somaliland’s recognition as a independent sovereign nation is one, but denying the existing administrative, governance and geographic reality is insane. You have to work with what you have, and it is only from accepting what you have that you can really start to make progress. What this gentleman is proposing is more state collapse, more clan based governance, more division and more chaos.

I just don't know what they will be doing after Banadir Regional Administration is formed and they get ignored. Like you mentioned, the idea of breaking up Somaliland by so called "unionist" is if anything just self-defeating. But even more crazier is that, they think a South Somalia politician will help them achieve that crazy idea. Just shows how much out of touch they are with reality. Anyway, want to read Galbeedi's comments about this impeding realisation of the long coming defeat of the pseudo unionists.
Duufaan Posted June 11, 2022 The International world order has been challenged by Russia invasion of Ukraine and nothing ever gone be same. The road map that was created by the winners of war world II is dead because they never allowed others to be invited and modernize the system. This will have huge impact around the world and Somalia as well. No one can predict how the things will go for the next 30 years. The old system will not survive any longer. Hassan may bring  extended Banaadir state  or just Banaadir state . If Putland agree we may have Khaatumo+makahir state. as well the last colonized region of Somalia and the one British offered independent but Sayid refused. baala xoofto Posted June 12, 2022 @Arafaat This is the dominant sect of the pseudo Unionists. The so called Khaatumo want to carve up their own clan enclave so do others. Those who want the return of the 1960 type of union again but different version of of it - are minority voices.  @Che -Guevara Ever heard of the difference between "local news" and "International News". What you just tweeted about is local news. A demonstration took place and some people got injured. That sort of news plays out all around the world every single day. One thing you will never hear about from Somaliland news like this: Three killed as rival troops clash in Bossaso HIIRAAN.COM Mogadishu (HOL) - At least three Puntland soldiers were killed and several others, including civilians, wounded when rival Puntland forces...  Or this Hoobiyihii Muqdisho: Ninkeedii & gabadheedii waa geeriyoodeen iyada oo 2 lug ka go’anna isbitaal ayay taalla (Ilmo caloosheeda ku jirey….) | Hadalsame Media WWW.HADALSAME.COM (Muqdisho) 09 Juun 2022 – Waxaa xalay hoobiyeyaal lagu ridey xaafado ka tirsan magaalada Muqdisho, taasoo sidii caadada ahaydba ay ku...

It is a shell of its former self. They are screaming like a third-world country to let ease the sanctions placed on her. Sooner or later Putin will be taken care of from within. The AUKUS alliance has no match in this world. China will be contained under the "Quad Alliance" (US+JP+AU+IN) + EU. In the next 10 - 20 years, the US and UK dominance will be cemented. Hands down. Somaliland has plugged itself into this alliance along with Taiwan. We are in good company.

The main idea was if the south is rehabilitated and made peaceful, it could lead to a union eventually. The world or Somali people doesn't wait or attach their faith with one town called Mogadishu which doesn't care either its inhabitants and others. If those in Awdal want to achieve more self rule and prosperity, we have to do without relying the anarchists in the south.
