miles-militis Posted November 15, 2003 In my part of the world, this http://halturnershow.com/IsraeliAtrocities.html is terrorism in its worst format, and anyone who abets implicitly, supports morally or otherwise, finances vicariously or else, and considers it within acceptable limits in committing such callous acts of violance against the defenceless is terrorist of the worst kind: Check Dubya & the Gov'nor at number 10 DS - and add to the list Khadim Al Xaramayn Al Sharifeyn and the rest of the Shuyukhis and the pseudo leaders of the Islamic world . It you are light-hearted or easily offended, bewarned the pictures are optically and graphically gruesome and heart-churning to say the least.

underdog Posted November 24, 2003 If you think logically the term "Terrorist", makes no sense. In any war/struggle attacks are based on some kind of gain; whether its an attack on supply lines, strategic outposts, weapons cache or troop base, there is always a direct link between the strike and a the direction of the struggle. So now the US, which has taken a page out of the Israeli book of government has made sure it's citizens live in constant fear of being attacked by foriegners whose only reason is jealousy of their "perfect" free society. All the education and deductive reasoning went out the window. people didn't even stop to ask questions such as * Who really benefits from striking fear into American citizens? * Why would anyone spend millions of dollars to concoct elaboratly complex plans to kill some civilians? * If the planes were hijacked with box-cutters why are we concerned with weapons of mass destruction? The answer to all of these questions is that Terrorists are unpredictable and untraceable and they should be tracked into soveriegn contries and weeded out so that we can make US a safe place. The ultimate "green light" to pursue anyone anywhere at anytime. There no such thing as a terrorist. The term can only be defined in two ways: * You have something the US wants * The US doesn't like what you have to say.

Bokero Posted December 1, 2003 A terrorist in a nutshell in the "other". It’s a weapons used to deafen cries or understanding of the other. We are the victims they are the terrorists. Terrorisms in other words it is tool that simplifies, rubbishes opposing voices. Terrorism is propaganda weapon fed to western media, which in turn implants it in our on conciseness as the viewers. The results are demonisation of the other and complete breakdown of communication and understanding of both sides Terrorism is also a word used to deflect or justify our own brutal deeds by painting it as "just war" or freedom wars against the "evil dowers" the other. Ours is clitoral damage while theirs is uncivilised brutish disregard of human life. The terrorist is the new communist

AYOUB Posted December 14, 2003 ^^^ "All the detainees have the right to leave [the country] at any time..'' If these people were really terrorists, would they have given that option? Its not important how you define a 'terrorist', what is taking place is a 'a war on terror' and not a war on terrorists. Someone defined 'war on terror' as an attempt by some individuals to deal with their fears inside them. This fear could be anything from a bearded men to a young girl wearing Hijab. All of the UK laws now used to detain 'terrorists' were drafted before Sept 11, at the time when IRA prisoners convicted on 'terrorism' were being freed.
