Hibo Posted April 10, 2002 I wonder where this "doctor" got his facts. more than 70% of the Somali population is fat to the extent that their health is compromised? I would be very skeptical of that comment because of all the Somalis I've come in to contact with, maybe approximately 10-20% are obese to the extent that their health might be compromised. Could it be that since Somalis have went abroad, that they are fed properly, or that there was a lack of Qat, which is known to supress the appetite and thus explains why out men are sticks, or it could be McDonalisation.
