WorldVisionChild Posted October 12, 2001 I'm dreading the day I become a "nomad"!..Can't we have our own little saying underneath our usernames, like other message boards?!
Hibo Posted December 27, 2001 Ummmmmm, a nomad. the days of 'ciyaar gud', running away with your lover, doing everything by hand, your whole life revolving arround house work and being on gaurd 4 the men of the family. It's not so cool being a femal 'nomad'. But i feel obliged to say, that it had some beauty about it. What are the sisters take on this? P.S Eid Mubaarek Jaber (even if it is 2 weeks late) and this place is cool.
unixguru Posted December 27, 2001 Yea, I guess it might not be so cool being a female nomad, but is it ever cool being a female anything?
Hibo Posted December 29, 2001 Unix most definatly bro, being female means: i can be a right cow - and i blame it on the PMT on the road, i get the right-of way just 4 smiling when i get married - i have the option to work or to just sit at home n chill being a mother - 'paradise is a the feet of mothers' my very existance is a blessing 4 my father according to the islamic teachings i don't need to wear a Guccie suite or carry a breif case - to get astounding customer services People always offer to carry heavy loads with me ... to name but a few ...... I just love being a muslim, somali (mordern day) female.
