but with dignity. Always with pride.

but what can I do? she's mine; all mine so

I just laugh it off. Flip the channel and

turn on the charm, like "at me? Nah shawty, never that"

And even though we never felt Sappho's kiss

I love her like I would love my own

were I a man and she was the woman Allah

fated for me to be with if such a destiny was mine.

 

We're mirror personalities with minor differences, I guess

that is why we get along so well and though she's

the friend I call my best I think of her as a sister

sometimes another part of me separated at birth

but how lucky are we that we've found each other again.
