Iskuma kalsoona miyaa? Inuu baarlamaanka mucaarad weyn ka noqdo muu rabaa. Xasan Sheekh was allowed to be a member of Aqalka Sare as a former president yet he never attended.

I think he wants to use during election,  lobby from inside,  may work

Maakhir, every candidate has several dilaals inside the big teendho lagu xusho madaxweynaha. I was in Islii markii Farmaajo la xulanaaye in 2017. After every round dilaalyada start moving back and forth for negotiations and vote buying. Dhagta ayaa maanta dhan wax la iskugu sheegaa.

So a musharax doesn't have to be a xildhibaan to be inside. Shariifka, like C/raxmaan C/shakuur, iskuma kalsoono.  This is his foreign-backed plan B to oppose Farmaajo or Kheyre agenda, should either of them la xusho.

LOL. Wax kasta la iska sheegaa afkaa furan camal.

It is smart move from Sharifka. Anyways, he is young and have a good future so serving in the parliament suits him well instead of wandering in capitals of foreign countries.

Is there a country in the world where they have new presidents every 4/5 years? Everything does not have to be copy & paste.

Happened couple of times in the US.

Also very common in many Parliamentary Constitutional monarchies for the Head of Government to remain MP after their executive term ends as Prime-minister, UK, Belgium come to mind.

INEWS.CO.UK

David Cameron has announced his resignation as MP for Witney, but other PMs have stuck around as a backbencher, from...

In Belgium it’s even quite common to see a former State leaders to become Mayors of their home towns or even members of Parliament or the Senate.

And there are some countries where it’s quite usual for the upper house or Senate to be populated by former state leaders, so it’s not that uncommon for a former state leader to have modest political after life as back bencher, however it’s quite rare in Africa, where ‘big’ man state leaders rarely seek a humble political career after their term ends.
