Snake-i Posted July 5, 2006 I am a poet in trainee and I am in dire need of comments so I could improve my poetry. Left alone in this shattered world Days came and gone Yet nothing changed Men with evil deeds Still rule the world Children left in the cold Shiver with a broken heart Kept calm with hidden fear The brought nothing but endless tears Souls in search of a lost destiny Listened to the rhythm of the wind When the wise men disappeared one by one So did their ancient legacy But today the sun will set Tomorrow the sun will rise New heroes will be born To struggle for a cause But today, today I have to put the puzzles together To bring back what was left of this beautiful country For tomorrow will be borrowed from the past.
