BOB Posted April 26, 2011 Welcome To My Mind II I listen... to the soft spoken rhymes of your broken hearts again carried on wings of affection through whispers of wind flow of emotions transcend the sin that's burried deep within lost souls with no visage or hope to carry on and so...I listen I feel... the physical pain endured by countless innocents unhealed wishing I could reveal to the world their sealed sad fate within each essence I yield...time and again I yield to these greater forces unable to portray the emptiness...I feel I see... Darkness enveloping me deeper than the blackness of midnight seas greed and gluttony sowing and tending the growth of festering seeds lord please give me the srtength I need to proceed...I need to succeed need to know there's something greater than all the infidelity around me...I see I Am... constantly innundated with emotions that are not my own but my kind's flashes of precious pleas that haunt my sorry soul and stalk my thougts fresh as a summer's breeze I constantly concede to the she whose light sees my precious Queen to be and yet whose pure and innocent heart still eludes...I Am. BOB Posted April 26, 2011 Dear Somali Child Be not afraid for I promise I'll walk with you when others forget...I'll see you through. Be not afraid for I'm your one and only friend when others forget I'll stand by you until the end. Be not afraid for I'll forever be there I'll hold your hand to show I care. Be not afraid for when you're weak and ill I'll sit at your bedside...Oh yes, oh yes I will. Be not afraid for when you're lonely or sad I'll kneel beside you and be the friend you never had. Be not afraid for when your heart needs a song I'll sing nice and long the words of a love poem. Be not afraid for when you're tired and fall sleep I'll watch over you and prepare food for you to eat. Be not afraid for when darkness silently falls I'll wait for you to awake no matter how early or late. So, be not afraid, be not afraid for I'm your friend I'll see you through this killing season until the very end. May the almighty watch over you wherever you are and may the Somali brotherhood never flee from your shattered hearts. Yours eternally BOB Peace, Love & Unity. BOB Posted May 5, 2011 Poetry Your words move me swifter than the current of the ocean floor your voice is soothing as it's formed through vocal chords absorb me into your world...my everlasting fantasy endless in bliss; the glee overwhelming ecstasy smooth to the touch...arousing my senses with presence I kneel at the sight...your aurora humbles peasants you wow me through intellect...none can out do you beautiful without an effort...no other girl compares to you take me with you where ever it is that you relocate so I can retain my sweetness forever in my domain........ I Hate Poetry... I hate this terrible form of expression because of poetry I experience depression due to this ‘art’ I witness my other side through every second verse I mentally die I converse with my psyche and argue with my mind my emotion caused the commotion I believe is that your own emotions what I have achieved? me to reach this mental state I was relieved to escape emotional pain….I was deceived its starting to thrive therefore I'm taking a nose dive I'm starting to think about love again...Oh Poetry once more love is starting to corrupt my brain I hate this pain which my brain has manifested I wish I never read that first piece of poetry but I did it unknowingly...I Hate Poetry. BOB Posted January 18, 2012 Lonely Lioness: She sits alone amongst the crowd in silence. hands clasped, confined tears trickle down her chin. they stare, but walk away. No one sees what she holds within. she reaches for her eyes, checking for what life has left. she clenches her mouth, not a sound escapes her breath. the skies shed tears and she's drenched in sorrow. the skies shed tears for the melody of her soulful sorrow. muted, unable to express her mind of concealed pain. still alone she sits, her sorrows blend in with the rain. now her tears are no more, no one suspects a thing. she stands up and walks away fearing what tomorrow will bring. BOB Posted January 18, 2012 The Truth About Lies: Fractured soul of despair lies restless within. the emotional wall seems destined to collapse. bitter seeds of hostility burn within your conscience. driving you up a path that has no turning back A lie is the first step to unfaithful relations. creating gloomy meadows and cause for separation. you look into trustful eyes that are spitting venom inside. behind treacherous covers opens a can full of lies. picture perfect is a mirage to your mere imagination. for troublesome storms are always brewing nearby. caught between barriers of depression and guilt. you lie over fiery pits of rage waiting to blaze your thoughts. bid farewell to the burden that holds you captive. for there is nothing true about a sly snake. they will bite the weak and leave your shadow unnoticed. and you perish within this cold world, where shadows are forgotten. The truth about lies is....there is no truth so don't you dare do it. .
BOB Posted January 19, 2012 Home. My mind feels jaded as my memories of home begin to get faded. writing love letters to my past hoping the romance to ever last eyes like pearl, soul enriched by the uncertainty of life unfulfilled filled with sorrow fuelled by the fake frowns I wear like a throne pain became part of me brought by the floods of the seasonal rain as I again lose my face inside fate’s train only to regain my faith sanity lost its sense the day humanity fled from my nation’s essence killing the dead for their unwilling to let live amongst the living filling the shallow graves with the empty souls of the evil infants mothers mourn for the loss of their toxic tongues of war mongering as fathers sell their souls to the foreigners farming for our young flowers enslaved by our lust for treason whilst we shame the free and freedom born free only to die a slave of greed and merchants of misdeed indeed they put Allah out of the equation, no need to question murdering the masses became the nation’s favourite past times innocence became the curse of weak and the wisdom of the freak my blood stained footprints led me to my tainted imagination as I lay myself to sleep I beg the lord to spare my soul from his wrath. BOB Posted January 19, 2012 Our Children: Explicit lyrics censored, expressions choked to death while they justify mass murder, kids are taking their last breath her face tells a million stories, yet she's afraid to speak the truth they no longer fight for peace but for the freedom of their youth another day, another bullet, another tear drop down her face another child leaves for the graves as others soon take their place as the world shakes around us we all stop and take a look realising all we see is a world already shook by the heartless crook. BOB Posted February 2, 2012 Inside Of Your Mind. I look at your pretty face and it is one of a kind I can't see your thoughts and it eats at my mind what thoughts do you ponder and what depth does reside I desire to witness the thoughts contained deep inside I feel your warm glow and feel your soft sweet voice but the neglect that you show me stabs in sharp points I wish to God I could tell what intentions turn gears for your mind is a machine that runs on learned years you tilt your head and gaze with a smirk on your gorgeous lips then place a finger on top and other hand on your sexy hips you ask me of my thoughts but only tell some of yours your mind is a barrier of which contains no open doors access denied is consistently the expression that is given but I still attempt entry because that is the way my will is driven I hope that one day my probing will allow me to find the thoughts that you have hidden from me inside of your mind. BOB Posted February 13, 2012 The Lost Generation: I scout my heart for reason seeking my Somali essence yet I find fear’s cold embrace lusting over my thoughts thus stabbing my perception for we’re enslaved by freedom. peace of mind, freedom of speech clutch my hand dragging my essence into a dark and bottomless pit our generation, the scapegoat of the nation's ignorance polluting this makeshift world with sex, drugs and fallacy; spreading our curse beyond logic and spiritual integrity. hell burns through my eyes for I see my somalis suffering innocent children without fathers and mothers to love daughters with no education marked with the seal of prostitution squatter camps and shelters over populated. we’re the sons of the soil seeking political asylum our nation tormented by death, drought and destruction gender manipulation and blood baths so I ponder why we cut off the same limbs that feed us? our cities and towns crawl in filth haunted by death like nose bleeds provoked by sloth and greed. our ancestors were the roots and our leaders, the stem our parents, the branches and we are the fruit of the lost genearion.
