BlueEpocha Posted January 15, 2006 I Behold You Another sleepless night Drained on what might Turmoil increases what is already tight It ripples in the depths of darkness in search of light A longing felt in the prickles of new heights She continues to heave the weight With every short coming that crosses her mind Instant satisfaction she achieves by a trigger in sight Bullet travels through Piercing one side of the skull Ripping the lower front part of the brain Before making that desired exit wound Although she has always reasoned with reason she let it slip out of fright Baby girl this is the kind of change to wrong right God has given you much, he expects much from you The sound grows louder and louder as the image becomes bright Like clockwork the hinges start to move Reason slips but only the instant before the push for the fight She is the product of the struggle that came before her out of delight Yet she has much to process and much to produce in slight Learn baby girl, learn to choose different and take flight Remember clarity will come at a cost Because the vulture will continue to bite And I Well I behold you as your knight Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
