Janna Posted April 26, 2006 Many may be in denial of the serious issues Black families (especially Somali's) are facing. This issue needs to be addressed world wide. Why are some members becoming aggressive towards this thread? If they don't want to express their ideas or opinions, then stay away. Simple. Why make it difficult for yourselves? Shouldn't love within families be more then skin colour? Should a mother treat one daughter better then the other because she is lighter? Physical attributes should be a blessing but it becomes a major problem when it's used in order to discriminate. This also creates hostility towards darker individuals.
