Pucca Posted August 5, 2005 My Somali prince By: Moi! He walks by smelling of onions and suugo Smelling of warm home cooked food. My Somali prince Wears pants that hang on his non-existing behind, he walks by Not noticing me staring at his oh so tiny ankles and spaghetti legs. My Somali prince Glances back and blinds me with a forehead so shiny and so big it could only belong to My Somali prince. With colourful Macawiss and Ghad in his mouth he sits under a tree Enjoying the fine summer breeze under the shade My Somali prince Drinks cola, smokes and chews the earthly leaves all at once Only taking a break to share a story or two with his pals My Somali prince “I love you†I say and he replies “naa kir, waxaas Malaga yagaano halkaan†With tears in my eyes I look at his forehead and walk on by, praying god to bless My Somali prince I hail a taxi and there he sits, waiting for my command And willing to go to the ends of the world for me My Somali prince Sits beside me in the bus with his pants high on his bony ankles Reading the Holy Book My Somali prince Sits in a Tim Horton store drinking a cup of coffee Chatting about the latest tribal war My Somali prince He sits at home enjoying life for the government’s welfare helps his family survive with ten children; child benefit and welfare make his life a whole lot easier My Somali prince With all his faults and less than handsome manners keeps his culture alive and still remains My Somali prince acquired from S'life simply funny! hot prince eh. Bess. Posted August 5, 2005 Another point of view....for the more Discerning woman... The (new) Somali Prince... besbaaso He walks by smelling of the newest cologne by Kenneth Cole, He walks by aware that my every look is reserved just for him My Somali prince Sophisticated, urban and looking like he just stepped out of the pages of GQ, He knows his worth but his humble..lol My Somali prince With a high forehead, a majestic nose, and ebony eyes, Looks like a Nubian king from the time before... My Somali prince No chewing, smoking and drinking, his only vice is ME And if I declare my feeling, his reply is nothing less than the most eloquent and heartfelt My Somali prince He has no time to sit under shades of trees, Cause he is a professional and has a career My Somali prince No welfare or government stipend for his family, cause like I said before He got a job My Somali prince He gets home and reads to his children the holy book, because he is a great father And cares about his children’s welfare My Somali prince He invites his friends home and to talk the latest politics to enjoy the hospitality his wife provides, there is no need to go to the coffee shop... My Somali prince For all his great ways, he is still just a man trying to stay ahead of the game and doing his best. Because he was taught, a man took care of his family and does not sit around waiting for others to take care of his responsibilities… all that makes him… My Somali prince
Pucca Posted August 6, 2005  try to go with the flow spicy...what you just wrote about was more of a somali white-washed dude than a real somali prince. He walks by smelling of the newest cologne by Kenneth Cole, where's the hot part in that? he's not even somali no more...suugo any day!

Gabbal Posted September 27, 2005 One cannot but feel honored at the thought of another's greatest opinion about one's sibling. That brought a smile out of one Besbaaso.
