Mogadishu (PP News Desk) — The South West State of Somalia today expressed disappointment at a decision by Federal Electoral Implementation Team Chairman Muse Guelleh Yusuf who publicized an incomplete list of new Parliamentarians. Guelleh excluded from the list MPs who received accreditation following elections held at the Federal Member States.

“The South West State of Somalia considers Mr Muse Guelleh Yusuf’s move as illegal and in violation of electoral agreements and procedures” reads the statement.

Meanwhile, FEIT members allied with the Prime Minister of Somalia have put the election of Gedo MPs on hold in breach of the electoral agreement that designates Gedo as an election venue.

Handpicked by President of Puntland State and Presidential Candidate Said Abdullahi Deni, Muse Guelleh Yusuf should have resigned as FEIT chairman to ensure transparency in FEIT decisions during the last stage of the eke election cycle. FEIT members have suspected Guelleh on grounds corruption and partiality.
