tell me i'm not really where i am rite now

confusion is where the line between truth and lie is obscured

tell me that life is harder from me and if i can only see

tell me seeing is believing, if i can't see, then

tell me how can i believe

tell me that i Do try to help those back home and one person can only do so much

tell me zakkah is for the rich and i don't need to give it cuz i'm really poor

tell me i don't need religious education cuz i got my whole elderly life to learn and be dedicated

tell me being like the kufar is advancing and stickin' to religion is backward thinking

tell me i need money and without it i can't live happy

tell me talkin'g loud, busting un-islamic jokes and being aggressive is the way to be

cuz if you don't you'll be denying yourself of free speech

tell me there is such thing as "halal dating"

see if you didn't date, there no chance you'll ever find your soulmate

tell me i need to get ahead in life and

if i gotta walk over, parents, siblings, friends, i gotta do what i gotta do,

cuz when its said n' done

its just you urself and you

tell me that they don't have a clue

they just telling you what they think you outta do

they aint neva been in you shoes,

tell me that i need to be busy,

so busy i forget to pray

tell me therez always anotha day to pray

tell me that tight is right

flaunt watchu got, show ur beauty spots

tell me where this fragrance

it lure men into seductive havens

yeah so what, u'll neva smell the scent heavens

tell me lies and lies

Until the day i die

My only protection is near

therez no excuse, no fear

My responsibility is proving

the lies are wrong n' ruthless
