BOB Posted April 17, 2005 Born & raised in a small place called Kismayo left home and now I find myself in another world where society is overrun by expensive trends if you're poor like me all you can do is frown surrounded by your artificial friends even though it means nothing in the end they keep wearing their fake smiles & lies no one really has a good heart or a hand to lend like cruelty is some sort of prize and everybody and everyone displays a disguise the truth might spoil their fake image no kind and welcoming & happy smiles just exclusion and long looks of grimace to portray a unique & phoney style is an automatic ticket to loneliness unless you fashion what everyone else does its like you don't get respect & you don't exist but most people judge amiss and take pleasure from causing disruption no need to cut my wrists for a world that has been taken by corruption young minds have been poisoned everyone sorted into different classes some kids getting beat up and robbed for as little as wearing glasses almost fascists and this kind of treatment should never happen. BOB Posted April 17, 2005 why should i be ridiculed whether love rock and roll or rapping? yet everyone's laughing at me for my lack of wealth but violence and hate continue to form I am praying and waiting for the calm but already we're engulfed by a storm swimming in arrogance or make that ignorance our brains are fogged with incoherence insensible thought thinking one is greater solely by being born with the silver spoon or by appearance these are the problems of the people i hang with we live in a world where they judge you by the clothes you wear certain dialogue or shall I say a certain accent a different race, sports, even the colour of your hair friend or foe, self-expression shouldn't matter whether we're poor or rich we breath the same air forget about love my friend, life is taken for granted because people would rather be with a millionaire adolescence has taught me so many lessons as a youth you are constantly delirious full of energy and so quick to be furious taking high school status far too serious nowadays, social rank is getting blown way out of proportion too many people are being blinded by the illusion of good fortune today I am accused of being a Boy and not a man who is not rich enough to know who is Tiffany. Peace, Love & Unity.
