Allah brought you into this world for a purpose

keep away from anything the devil may propose

have faith in Allah and you will prosper

stand by what you believe in and your race

don't expect no one to come and tie your shoe lace

cherish your life and respect all the human race

there will come a day when your heart will be broken

don't let anyone force you to become his/her token

remember these words that I have spoken

don't let your anger make you change your mind about women

never regard your failed relationship as a bad omen

settle down, get married and have a wife

life's sweet when you have a loving woman in your life

learn to make the best out of your youth and time

for time and age wait on no one and nobody

make sure you go after your dream & goals

be a good friend to your friends and treat them with respect

rush to their side every time they need a help

make sure you treat everybody equally and fair

make sure you will always be there for your people

don't expect the world to mourn every time you are hurt

don't be afraid to express yourself or your opinion

always try to see things from other's perspective

don't be afraid to let people know your objective

don't keep it all inside forever like your Daddy did

don't be afraid or ashamed to make mistakes

make sure you believe that you got what it takes

don't ever let your pride hold you back and dictate you

remember it's ok to be wrong but learn to admit it

remember not all men are brave enough to say SORRY

don't ever hesitate to hold your hand high and apologize

there's nothing better than an honest man

be kind to the women,elders and the children

make sure you learn not to point a finger and criticize

 

 

PS. Sonny,that is all I can tell you about this world...sorry, your daddy couldn't afford to buy for you anything and everything you always wanted

but that doesn't mean I love you LESS

you know I love you more than the life itself

because you are my seed and the apple in my eyes.

My Sister Bishaaro, Thanks for reminding me my Malaika and I wrote this for the son that I hoped we would be blessed with someday but I guess that wasn’t mean to be and now I must forget about her and live my life and let her live hers.

BOB....I wonder how many times did you guys seperate and get back together again, I have to count back all the angry, sad poems you wrote this year to come up with a figure.

 

What's meant to be is meant to be and what's not.....

 

Don't write poems about what you could've had or not, it's not worth it as it will just keep reminding you of things that's been.

 

Keep your chin up, and keep writing happy, uplifting poetry
