The Voice Of The Common Man.

I preach to teach and for a dream I reach

Hooyo & Aabo taught me to be kind to my own kind

i am down for all my people even if they are blind

i am here to enlighten and I hope you don't mind

i chose to be the voice of the voiceless

the face of all those poor fellows who are faceless

the one who gives hope to all the hopeless

i give positive thoughts to all the thoughtless

in my speech i speak for all those who are speechless

i am the chosen leader who shall never mislead

i am not a model but i make a good role model

the one who won't let your legacy get rotten

as long as I am here you wont be forgotten

the memory of my country brings me pleasure

the destruction of my land causes me displeasure

the happy faces of my people brings me comfort

the demise of my nation causes me a discomfort

the pain of my bros & sisters causes me a heartache

the cries of my Somali kids causes a nightmare

their call for my help tears my heart apart

i am just an ordinary brother with a message

i am neither a politician nor a mindless savage

i am not interested to be another warlord

all I am trying to do is pass on the word of the lord

as long as i live i will try to be the light

just give me a chance to make your life bright.

Dats some nice poetry man, i'm feelin that. You sending out a positive message, all ppl gotta do is follow it
