BOB Posted March 13, 2005 Hooyo taught me to achieve rather than receive she taught me to think before I began to perceive she taught me to offer my help to the Sisters that conceive she taught me to respect & love my own kind she taught me to always believe in and use my mind she taught me to be genuinely generous and kind she taught me to follow no one’s dodgy lead she taught me to stay ahead of those who mislead she taught me to be consistent with my good deed she taught me to be strong and rise above she taught me to never misuse the word love she taught me to plan carefully before I move she taught me to be truthful and honest she taught me to always remain simple and modest she taught me to remain faithful to my almighty creator she taught me to pray to him every time I needed a motivator she taught me to never ever be what they call a manipulator she taught me to always represent myself to the best of my ability she taught me to always stay in touch with my sense of creativity she taught me to never ever be scared of my responsibility she taught me to never lose my faith in the human race she taught me to fulfill my duties to my people with grace she taught me to never cause harm to my people and be menace. Hooyo taught me so much but above all she taught me that first and foremost I am a SOMALI and I should remain one until the day I die and I am grateful to almighty Allah that I had her as my Teacher...May Allah Have Mercy On Your Soul.
