BOB Posted February 14, 2005 My People...it's time to rise up...I am simple man with a revolutionary vision but all I am asking of my people is an evolution...I am the voice of all the voiceless. in the absence of hatred and a world with no gun i swear our kid's life would've been more fun with no reason to emigrate from home and run my Somali people need to realize and learn that is if their hearts hasn't been eaten away by the pain yet i know most of us tried but not yet tired let's not stop until our cries are heard it's time the murdered babies & women's blood dried it's time to stop Mothers and fathers tears of hurt it's about time the daily dirge stopped for the sake of humanity and love let's all embrace each other and move let's set each other free and fly like a dove it's time to stop burning each other’s souls like a stove please protect my young daughter from the darkness help her grow to become a fearless lioness i love all children even those who are fatherless if they are murderers I still love them regardless give my regards to all the fathers for their success for not raising us to become evil and reckless i say it's time to repair the battered & bruised Somali pride it's been a long long time since I've seen my flag glide and never again shall we ever let our dignity slide i took the first step now it's your turn to drop the snide because I know when we unite we will form a deadly tide.
