raula Posted November 1, 2010 , we will never regain our lost virginities, our girls will not be picked from their princely beds, [/QB] ... sad times indeed. May Allah have mercy on our souls!
raula Posted January 20, 2012 All I could do was cry When we disembarked To safe lands beyond and Borders we do not cross To launch a new life; As our brothers were at arms With each other and brutal the battles Over invisible boundaries and business Of the west and colonial pleasures Indeed colonials; like mines buried Ready to explode at the slightest stroke They provoked the hatred within us… Long before we became independent Politically indifferent, and morally undressed But nothing had changed even then Our blood was as ruby Still known as the land of barefoot Countessas and potent orators… But they soon were into deep, Unskilled and unwavering on unfounded furors Over senseless worldly convictions… Do they not notice the dent on their population? The near obliteration of future lineages? To whom do you fight the battles for? The barren land that you’ve stripped Its greenery and scenic wildlife platform How do you define the worth of your women? As the vultures came to scavenge The hunters from the neighborly lands Refined their weaponry and coated their aid Knowing a country shackled to their “tribal” And imported religious allegiance Has been hosting a feast, where now All is free for the mighty swords… Ya Allah (s.w.)..grant me this wish… I am scared..unaware of the predators lurking.. I wish for an intervention from your angels To steal the moon..let it lit the corners of my world And heal the wounds of my brethrens Grant them wisdom and tame their currents For the ocean if solid with the blood of our Mothers..whom you blessed Jannah to be beneath her soles Oh Allah (s.w.)..grant me this wish…

BOB Posted February 2, 2012 Rest your palm upon mine and together we shall stand. hold my strength with love and our hearts will expand. arms string paths of pride as voices sing not to the warlords. but to the boney cheeked children suffering through the worst of times. confessions of smiles bring light to a day clouded by heartache. allow those lips to kiss my soul in hope of what passion can create. we must no longer accept mediocracy for our lives are to brittle to forget. pray for all who have touched our lives and live in harmony with no regret. lay back our heads with eyes closed and dream big but strive for the best. give to the needy and take only what you've earned through your sweat for if we do our part to the best of our ability, Allah will do the rest in Allah alone we must trust and live by the qur'an and the sunnah one day, hands molded as one standing in front of our creator as one we will pray for a cause not just because as having faith in him...he will come. Peace, Love & Unity.

wiil Posted June 26, 2012 My heart is still a child I remain awake in sleepy nights I remain a sleep in lost memories I keep wondering what to say when i meet you I Can live or die for a YES from you Do you also feel the same restlessness? You are the prayer that went unanswered Sometimes you look like the moonlight in the sky Are you a dream or an illusion?
raula Posted June 29, 2012 ^^^^Behold the desires a juvenile heart will trek Best thoughts sprout Each memento jolts with anxiety… Caressing your flank & your inner most wounds Once it strikes the vulnerable point Sending striking sensations top to toe Like a perfectly choreographed symphony Permeating as the dust settles Choking the desire in your cores Branded……………………………… Secrets exposed…records of defects As peers bear witness to the storytelling Of comrades’ ‘business’ concluded last night… Only the tamer, can brag about The fathom of spiteful camel, Only grown men……………………… Can only ride those waves of emotions Without shattering the full beauty Of a woman’s melancholy and gaiety Those lacking in craft can’t bear this A qualified won’t fear riding An unbroken horse, without a saddle… Guided by intimacy, strong shoulders Mind you a shelter and a shield Of your most intimate moments Reflection true to character, Like the wisdom of a discreet camel herder So you ask my dear lad, dream or an illusion? Perhaps you do bare a barren camel’s insight Let not your fantasies carry you to lost way And cast you as a hero...Short of fathoming that Poetry is a woman you do not betray To abuse her desires is a sin! (Implied rendition of the poem above: it’s about the youngsters of today who boast & dispose of their love affairs like an enchanted season unlike true gentlemen (grown men) discreet at it like a cosseted financial credit).
