Starlight Posted November 24, 2004 A menace to society I feel like I’m a dead man walking Shouts and hurtful words, if looks could kill I would have been stabbed with a dagger Each stare hurts more then the other Venoms and demons staring back Preparing an awful doom like no other Each step feels as heavy as lead As I try to walk with pride I try to proceed Indeed I’m hated Yet I pay no heed I’m labelled for my belief I stare behind the Veil Behind my Nikhab and I inhale They see me as sentenced behind jail Yet I’m free you hear I’m Free In a way they can never be in a higher degree My clothes shelter me Satan’s whispers are irrelevant to me Each step I take I’m closer to the garden This life does not intrigue me So why are you so concerned on liberating me? I scare you because I bare the truth I’m wearing the signs When you see me there is no reading between the lines You envision hell as your place to dwell While I envision paradise and its smells I walk with pride on this land We both prostrate for a higher command So stare at me as you please Cause my Nikhab and my clothes bring me appease Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
