It all began with false accusations

which slowly led to a bloody destruction

and finally resulted a forceful invasion

trying to deny the wrongful occupation

of what once was a free and prosperous nation

Furat is at the mercy of non-believers

Baghdad, Basra and Najaf have no protection

against these blood thirsty foreign contagion

labelling the righteous believers evil

it is sad how the truth is covered

it is scandalous how the blood

of the innocent civilians is shed

my faith is under attack from the faithless

using propaganda as their tool of communication

causing between us a major friction

employing false and evil quotation

claiming that it was found in our holy revelation

arguing B-52 is the only solution

start firing rockets and bullets at our direction

while deliberately ignoring

to seek a genuine resolution

holy cities and shrines are filled with ammunition

to put down my faith and

people is their sole obligation

while mine is to seek redemption

my faith teaches us to be the people of reason

but they are falsely accusing us of treason

they left the innocent to rot in prison

put a leash on them like they do

in the animal institutions

laugh at the tears of their humiliation

take a picture of their sad situation

while displaying a joyous expression

and making them despise their own creation.
