IL CAPO Posted September 26, 2004 Nineteen hundred forty eight was the day she was born the first day my mother cried you raised us well & always lived right at night you'd make sure that we were safe and warm before you slept each night you did a great job Mom all through your life as a friend, teacher,a mother and as my guardian Angel. we were not rich nor poor or even famous yet we were happy you did unbelievably great to be the head of the family when dad was gone to Egypt and the land of the kings to empower himself with the knowledge of almighty Allah's revelation and the holy scriptures Life's not easy nor is it fair thats what you used to say and now you're dead lying in a dark and empty grave you have always cared and helped others so here is a salute to my beloved Mother you made the days bright and happy and the sun shone all around you made everything cheerful and on her face there was always a sweet & peaceful smile On Sep the 27 life was not so kind and dark clouds of death gathered your unconditional love brought us days of comfort and joy and your life made it all worthwhile I held you in my arms and kissed your forehead for there is no soul dead or alive that i respect more and if i could prove my love to you your golden heart wouldn't have stopped beating for a moment mine should have for you are the greatest and the most wonderful part in my life and you will always be my one and only special QUEEN i was just a teen but it still hurt me when i heard you talking to dad over the phone & asking him to forgive you i knew then that your days were numbered you held me in your arms and comforted me and called me "your Baby" you felt so frail and weak you said that you knew everyone was praying for you as you could actually feel it especially at night when everything was quiet and still I wish i was a good & sweet child like my elder brothers & sisters i wish i never made you worry about me i wish i never was a wild child who seemed to have been possessed by demons but you kept loving me nevertheless i never had a chance to tell you this but you taught me somany things that i am finding priceless today Mom you gave me self-belief and courage you laid the foundation for the man that i have become today who is all grown up and responsible no more running around like i used to your words left their marks on me and i will always remember and cherish all the advices that you gave me and did i ever tell you that you give the best advices from life, love and death you are the greatest motivator that i have ever come across no wonder my father still loves you as he is still sleeping alone in your same old bed and blatantly refuses to re-marry and admire him for that because he knows just like we all do that no one can ever take your place as you were like my father used to say to you in arabic "One In A Billion". I Love You Mom and Thanks For Every Priceless Advice That You Have Given Me as it has finally paid dividends and done me a world of good. May Allah Have Mercy On Your Soul. AMIIN.
