alexus_orjustice Posted August 25, 2004 A Quiet Storm: Sparks flew, as I laid eyes on you With perfect features, compared to no creatures Your words captivating, leaving my third eye elevating Having you near, I am empowered without fear Holding you in my hand, builds the strength just to stand I will not loosen my grip of you, till my last breathe is through I now stand on this pedestal, behind me are the days of being just a fool Intellectually growing, leaving my face glowing My behavior is changed, as your history is ingrained Many lost years wandering, spent with a few peers pondering As I continue to age, ill be contempt if imprisoned alone with you in a cage It only increases, my once shattered love that was in pieces The hard headed always got to feel it, to believe it Till your presence, calms one sense Turning the black hearts of many faces, into faithful hearts in different places An army of one await, to defend you against one hate To my right, an army stands with their mind right To my left, an army stands with all that is left Im not speaking of yet another mortal woman with an hour-glass shaped body, but of the immortal pages of the Holy Quran’s body We are all ready-willing-and-able to enter the eye of the storm, ever since all were born I guarantee this will not be a Quiet Storm in the mist, cowards need not enlist!
