Farmaajo vs Khayre

These two men will be the front runner, in other words one of them will be the next Somalia president. Deni is facing a lot of head wind right now. The two men has similar xildhibaan base. Khayre has been very generous about giving money and contracts to his friends and opponents with his advantage. Both Puntland Aarjaan and Hargeysa support Khayre.  His also a dealer by professional, he will do extremely well if he do not win. Farmaajo is wounded but Sheikh Shariif camp and others may end up voting Farmaajo. This may end a close election unlike pervious ones

Kheyre is an effective communicator and also knows how to deal with his ministers. He was also a hands-on prime minister, modernized many of the ministry buildings and prime minister's office as well as creating his own communications team and a dedicated wariye (Nasro Bashiir Cali, whom Rooble uses still).

He also has good relationships with Laftagareen, Qoorqoor iyo Axmed Madoobe. He will probably get the second most votes. Anything can happen in the third round and kuwa haray's xildhibaanno might choose him.

Kheyr was definitely better than Rooble. If Farmaajo wins again, it might be in their interests to make up. Besides Farmaajo won't able to run for a third term. He might cement his legacy if he chooses a competent.

The only big problem with Khayre, will be the national issue, not as bad as Shiekh Sharif. Other than that with his ego, he could be effective.

. He was a dealer before he became prime minister. He has certain western coroprate culture in terms of how he conducts his business, being early and making his supordinates accountable.

Yet, as a guy born and raised in Mogadishu, the issue of national unity and and Somali history is not relevant to him like Farmaajo or C/laahi Yusuf. Hassan Sheikh treid to deal with Ahmed Siilaanyo and when he foundout the games the Hargeisa regime was playing he downgraded the relashinship and focused on the main issues.

Personally, I do not trust Hassan Khayre on the national issues. He is a dealer who could sell many valuble things if he isn't supervised by a president. Shariif Ahmed is the same on these issues. He congratualted the north for 18 May day. What that tells you?.

The disapearance of Muudey, Dalxa and CAli Yare and others might signal the weakness of N&N from the outside, but Ali Faqi from South West is coming and could take the speakership. It is realy hard to predict , but I would watch how Mahdi Guuleed moves. Whether he remains N&N or being bought by the opposition.
