A vision is a mental projection

An imperfection in the realm of reality

A cheat, sneak peak into future decisions

I seen one, a vision

 

A mirror image of my past, a mirage of my last

Future rolling around

In the sound of my present

I seen one

 

The vision was of particles of light

Suspended in the realm of sight

Caught up in the fabrication of the night

I seen another vision

 

Of a bird without wings

Strangely enough were these things

But that bird continued to sing

I seen a vision

 

This one of a man fighting a reflection of himself

He lost and the reflection fought his shadow

His shadow won and fought the lights who created him

No one won, I seen a vision

 

Endless possibilities floating around in an abyss

Of voices that screamed "YES!"

I seen a vision

 

Of a white night sky w/ black stars

Of a universe that fit in the palm of my hand

And a place where lives were measured w/ grains of sand

I seen a vision

 

Then I woke up....
