Intuition Posted August 19, 2003 Asalaamu'alaykum I've always had a thing for poems, altho im not very good at writing them,i do love reading them. anyway i decided to have a go and came up with a few. im only gonna post 1 so i can see what y'all think of it b4 i make an even bigger fool of me self, lool. do u think i have a future in poetry? Confusion Delusions Life's layers on illusions constantly cuasing confusion the struggle of the day going down the torturous way seeking happiness at a price i cant pay why does life have to be this way? find myself crying each day just to take a step to a positive way but at the end of the day life stills remains the same and however the constant pain life rewards you in strang ways and it all become ok. wasalaam Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
J.Lee Posted August 21, 2003 Anybody can have a future in poetry...it's self expression there is no criteria for a good poet you just gotta stay on point and make sure your personality, feeling and what you're expressing comes of the page and grabs the reader and I must say your poem did that for me ....... life rewards you in strang ways and it all become ok. Aint that the truth Life isn't lord of flies and humans aren't bestial I have my feet on the ground but my head is celestial I see life's reflection through not rose tinged glasses but of those of darkness yet I rather be postive and bless y'all through my words learning life's lessons than be hard than thou chick to impress y'all Life isn't always the same true but who could forget seasonal memories song rifts and scents amongs evengings I saw that through and in the midst of my time spent I've no regrets slow jazz in the background hot hazy afternoon in seattle and i'm at a swimming pool to splash down don't you understand everything is okay cause i'm not living my life to die I live for life and I got nothing to worry about cuz everything is allright......Okay Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
