SHAKA ZULU Posted June 29, 2003 I waited for your love in hope, That ours would come again, And make me feel the things I felt, When we were one, back then. But time and distance have erased, The things I wished anew, And now I find myself alone, Though I am here with you. What good is love, that does not touch, What good is love, that gives you pain. What good is love, that makes you run, And makes you lost out in the rain. I traveled to another world, Out far beyond the one we knew, I thought that I could live again, And now I find I'm back with you. But what of hearts that beat as one, And what of passion and embrace, Is it too much to ask of you, To make these tears of mine erase. Too painful this - to journey back, To times of love and laughter free, The times we lay together with A sense of you , a sense of me. So now, I journey on alone, Forever wandering, in my thoughts, And I shall ask you once again, What good is love. this poem is dedicted to me and you and you sexy little goddess. SHAKA ZULU Posted June 29, 2003 Flavor Of The Day Here you come, creeping back in. Inside your ever-changing tastes, once again, I'm the flavor of the day. Are we still the same? Now I'm burning in vain. I gave you too many chances, and you left me standing alone in the rain. I loved you too much, and then I learned it wasn't worth the pain I brought down on myself. I still love you so very much, and here I am, the flavor of the day, melting alone in the rain.
SHAKA ZULU Posted June 29, 2003 If you have ever fallen in love and not had your lover feel the same way. If you stopped loving someone just as they loved you. If you were ever just unlucky enough to feel what I felt, you will understand "Everything." Every new beginning, comes from some some beginnings end. Every time you kill me, I am born again. Every time you close that door, Another door is opened. And every time you say goodbye, a different word is spoken. Every time you look at me my back is facing you, And every time you ask to see me I'll have something else to do. Every time I join your game, You're not playing fair, And every time I really love you, I pretend that I don't care.
SHAKA ZULU Posted June 29, 2003 Your Eyes by Shaka Zulu When I look at your eyes, I see your true self. I see you're sweet, and caring. I see you're giving and forgiving. I see your love for me. When I look at your eyes I stop myself from crying When I'm alone and think about your eyes I cry. I can't stop thinking that one day I'll never see those eyes again That I'll never see the love or the sweetness Or the love that makes you who you are. One day you'll be gone - gone from me. Gone from this world. No matter what happens, those eyes will one day close And forever rest in peace. But you'll never be completely gone, Because every time I close my eyes, There you will be. SHAKA ZULU Posted June 29, 2003 This is a poem regarding how I feel, in general, about my life today and in looking back over the years. It is about the solitude that is experienced in life and knowing that there is no other way. If only it were so simple, to cruise through life smelling roses; but the obstacles blacken the countryside, and we unwittingly crush them beneath our boots. Dreams sustain us through the madness; goals give a finish line to our race. Yet they change with every turn, around every wall, and remain elusive throughout the quest. Mistakes are made, and regrets are our luggage; we will drag them with us to slow us down. The victories are flashes of light, sudden and unlasting, which allow us to glimpse the road ahead before darkness descends. Love is bitter, yet it is the bread that keeps us. Over and over it fills us up, only to starve us. The people whom we love shape our destinies and our strengths, yet leave us cold and alone in the darkness. There are others trying to race to the end; occasionally, we bump into one or two. The bonds we form help us down the path less lonely but eventually, we lose each other in the darkness. Alone is not a bad way to be; it clears your head and focuses you on the journey. Cherish the short intervals during the quest you have with others, but be prepared to walk alone in the darkness. by Shaka Zulu.

Paragon Posted July 3, 2003 Falling in Love or getting into a relationship is the willful imprisonment of your free heart. If you use to sail now yu can't sail and you can't calmly ponder too.
