lol I've been gone awhile only to find all the old faces have gone and there so many new ones not to mention the site has changed soooooo much...anyways hope you guys enjoy this one

 

At your feet I laid my heart,

And you threw it back at me.

You toyed with my emotions,

Played me cruelly.

 

You enslaved my feeble soul,

Shunned my purest love,

You put me through such tortures

That no one should deserve.

 

So now time has claimed my body,

And made me hard as stone

I no longer feel emotion,

I've become a hollow drone.

 

And now you come to me,

After all these wasted years,

Asking for forgiveness

And to help dry out your tears.

 

But my heart stayed cold as steel

For the darkness wraps me tight.

So to your shattered body I

Can only laugh with spite.

 

Come not to me again,

Lest I show all the pain.

And make you suffer what I went through,

Torture so arcane.

 

My heart had almost melted.

My blood had almost stirred,

I was close to again believing,

All your touching words.

 

I almost felt you aching,

I almost felt your fear.

I almost felt your anguish,

And I almost shed some tears

...Almost....
