Baby_G Posted November 13, 2002 I see the sun set ending the day, Yet I'm not one of whose soul slipped away Today I suvived and lived through, Yet the night sky brings a striking new hue Am I next in line? Tomorrow will death be m 1 of ma favoutite poems Hope yall enjoy it Nuff luv Next to die under gunfire, As the gunsmoke of oppression gets higher? Next to die from hunger, While the world around me turnes to plunder? Next to die from the chilling cold, As a refugee with tattered clothes and sufferings untold? Next to die under the rubble of my home, From deadly bombs falling from clouds of white foam? Next to die alone in a dark cell, Though inside me no crime does dwell? Every day from inflicted misery people cry, Every day from oppression and injustice people die The sun sets on the lives of many, Yet the weight of sorrow for the persecuted is petty! Next from my misery will I be made to cry, Next from opression will I be next to die? Am I next in line? Tomorrow, will death be mine?
