There are those types of people that come into your life and stay for an eternity…. They are with you from birth to adulthood, from nappy hairs to relaxers, and from one week infatuations to eternal love…. They help you through the hardships and through the heartbreaks The love you for you, whether you do the biggest mistake, commit endless sins, and stumble on regrets They love you They love you for you, whether in times of happiness, in times of sorrow, and in times of pain They love you They love you for you because they hold that unconditional love, because they know the REAL you, because they have known you from birth…. Those people are the type that come into your life and stay for an eternity There are those people that come into your life and stay for a short time and harm you for a long time These people often come in beautiful wrappings making it hard to see what they really are These people seem so good, so wonderful, so meant to be These people often times have underlying intentions with their extravagant attentions…hurtful intentions that cause wounds to run deep like the Nile Rivers….wounds that take many lifetimes to heal These people come into your life to teach you a lesson, people that you think you could do without but you end up realizing without them…you could not grow, learn, and understand what you do not want to be… Those people are the type that come into your life and stay for a short time and harm you for a long time There are those people that come into your life as passers by These people you meet in passing, whether it is at the corner store or at work, whether it is at the hair salon or post office, and whether it is at the doctor’s office or at a rest stop from a long journey These people are their only to deliver messages, to help you through a tough day with an encouraging word or smile, to show you a sign that you have not noticed before, or even to make you realize the answer to a life changing decision you have been searching for These people can be that same homeless guy that has been asking you for change at the park where you grew up, a random lady that you met in the emergency room while you were waiting for an update to your Father’s condition, or maybe even the child that was selling candy you dismissed at first glance because you thought he would hound you but did not realize he carried that important message… These people could be that person you met on a late night chat when you could not go to sleep, or that quite girl that has been in all your classes since elementary but you never bothered to talk to, or even that neighbor that no one knew existed These people are passers by and often times contain answers to questions you have been asking for a day or a lifetime Those people are the type that only pass by There are those people that are mysterious show up and stay with you for a fleeting moment These people carry with them the gift of LOVE, the gift you have been desperately searching for in all the wrong places These people not only carry the gift of LOVE but the gift of LIFE, of yearnings fulfilled, of experiences embraced, of fears overcome These people show you things you never thought you were capable of , they inspire you to reach for you goals, they show you the true meaning of LOVE at first sight, and they touch you in levels you did not know you had These people show you the wonders of the world, love you like you have never been loved before, and you in turn understand that you too can love…and eventually lose These people are the epitome of everything magnificent and breathtaking in this world, the epitome of God’s creation, the epitome of the meaning of LIFE… These people leave you with memories, feelings, emotions of happiness, of wanting, of teaching people of this perfect LOVE you have experienced…they leave you with visions of beauty, faith, and hope These people come unexpectedly into your life, without any permission These people show up mysteriously, often leaving you so taken back at your first encounter but desiring more… These people are precious and only some people are blessed enough to cross paths with them These are the same people that you frightenly grow attached to…but realize they must leave Those people are the type to leave you with a burning mark in your fragile heart…all in just one fleeting moment… There are those people that come into your life and make you question yourself These people make you question your morals, your faith, your beliefs These people are not necessarily harmful, but rather a test… These people can come in forms of tasteful temptations, of beautiful bronze bodies with curvaceous curves or muscular muscles, of flawless skin sinfully smooth to the human touch, of tantalizing whispers that send shivers up to your spine These people come in forms of authority, of nagging bosses to degrading professors, of annoying email messages to racist remarks, of scandalous magazines to humiliating experiences These people intentionally question your integrity, your faith in your morals, your instilled beliefs by your parents, your “unshakeable” principles These people covertly help waver your philosophies, your decisions, your thinking…they disorient, distort, and disrupt your calm flow of life These people are the type to come into our life and make you question yourself People come into your life daily..whether it is to teach you a lesson, show you your potential, or bring your spirits up or down People can be a positive impact to your life, people can be a negative impact to your life, and people can have no impact at all…its all in the way you take it… You can take something from each person you meet because they are all their for a reason….to help shape, to help determine, to help you grow as the person you are destined to be… Take what you can, learn from the good and the bad, pass on the good, grow from the bad and ask yourself this one question….
