Recently concluded clashes in Guriel town in Somalia’s Galmudug federal state between Ahlu Sunna Wal Jamaa (ASWJ) militants on one side and the regional administration forces backed by the Somali Security Forces (SSF) on the other have killed and wounded dozens of people and forced thousands of residents to flee the town.
