I liked this film as a kid, and I belive it was Spike's first movie, ah Chanel 4.....

 

Jungle Fever the one Wesley Snipes falls for that Italian secretery of his, and which has Hale Barry as a crackhead. That was good in its day, kind of dated now though....

Do the Right thing...loved how he left the viewers to decide what is the right thing to do when confronted with a race issue..the film reminds me of all the Italian pizzeria in my Philly neighborhood...A movie that is still relevant even today!

Malcolm X. Hands down one of the best movies ever made! Definitely did the man some justice! (Allahu naxariisto.)

Spike Lee gave a platform to Denzel, Wesley and Samuel L Jackson..

 

He Got Game is a great movie..

25th Hour is my favorite. It came out in 2002 and was set in New York a couple of months after 9/11 even though the story doesn't have much to do with that. When it came out the film generally received good reviews but it was pretty underrated. However, last year it was in a fair number of "Best of the decade" lists. It's snidely referred to as Spike Lee's "white" movie.
