STOIC Posted September 22, 2005 Ramathan Kaarim to all my brothers and sisters in Islam .May ALLAH give us the baraka of this blessed month.I have an advice to all the muslims(calm down, Stoic can give a daawah too :cool: ). This is the only month that alot of food is wasted by the muslims in the community.If you happen to be one of the food wasters in the community, could you please donate all the extra food during iftar time to the local pantry or food bank in your community.This will be a sadaqah, remember?Wouldn't it be great if you fill the empty stomach of the poor folks? May Allah reach us in good health and bless us to do more Cibaadah. Walaahi this is a gift from Allah and we shall not waste a minute of it. How many people do you know that lived last Ramadan but aren't here this year? Does anyone have any plans? Change of a bad habit or a bad life style? Read more Qur’an? Or do some Hifz? More Sadaqa, or helping others? Shut off that TV and/or put away those CDs? What are we gonna take away from Ramadan? A great opportunity is on the horizon.
