hi all, ciyaal axamar i say hi to you all, i remamber my home town mugdisho specially howl wadag distirict i lived in there.. near ji marexaanka close to hotel baariyoow $ masaakidka xareed this is where i liked to ride baaskil , and play with my home boys ciyal baariyoow , we always had fun time to gether playing soccer with the other nomads. just like i do now in usa. all i have to say is missing you ciyaal baariyoow and love you 4 vevr.

Nostalgic alone would be ok. It's worse when they come up with fantastical stories about that place and time. The stories start normally (like the guy above talking about his homeboys) then suddenly takes a turn for the worse. Something like:

 

We used to play football everyday in xamar cade. One day, Siyad Barre was walking past. He came alone and asked to play. We made him keeper. I scored three goals against him. Madax bu aha (or a word that rhymes with madax).
