Ibtisam Posted June 18, 2007 Ethnic Baby Boom Crisis’ "I advocate the compulsory sterilization of women from ethnic 'minorities' after their second child." "WE PAY THEM TO BREED LIKE RABBITS!" These comments were posted on the Daily Express website in response to the ‘Ethnic Baby Boom Crisis’ article. The first article was particularly racist, and the response to this article on the Daily Express website, including "send them back to their own countries to have their babies". A complaint is being made to the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) and also reporting the racist comments that have appeared on the Express website to their Moderators. You can add your voice by submitting your complaint to the PCC with this simple form: History of Express’ Islamophobia Unfortunately, this racist sensationalism is not new in the Daily Express. With wholly-inaccurate, scare-mongering, racist headlines as: “Britain says: We’re at war with Islam” (17/08/06) and "Now Muslims Get Their Own Laws in Britain" (01/05/07), they do nothing more than abuse the freedom of speech to lobby those right-wingers who share their allegiances. The Daily Express creates a climate of insecurity and fear. It calls the Burka ‘the dress of the oppressed’ (Editorial, DE, 06/09/06). It thinks nothing of the innocent victims who take savage beatings and humiliations at the hands of these right-wing thugs who use these headlines as excuses to vent their anger. What did you think of the first article, the explanation given for it and the responses that followed?
NGONGE Posted June 18, 2007 ^^ You didn't provide a source for the nonsense above nor did you provide a link to the article it's talking about! Nobody takes the Daily Express seriously. I mean it's ten years later and their front page headlines are still about Princess Di!
- Femme - Posted June 18, 2007 Girls, lie back and think of the Muslim Ummah. . . . . . For those who are thinking something else...its a jab at lie back and think of England.
Ibtisam Posted June 18, 2007 ^^^I assumed UK nomads were experienced enough to visit the daily express website. but here it is all: http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/8954/Ethnic+baby+boom+%27crisis%27 The articles and comments, sorry i assumed most people were aware of this, it is hot debate on the blogs and Muslim sites. here is MPACUK http://www.mpacuk.org/content/view/3729/34 Ngonge, it is read by the average working class people, who then turn and abuse Muslims and ethnic miniorities, so yes it matters, these views reach and shape the perception of millions. Femme; lol
Grant Posted June 18, 2007 Salman Rushdie is getting a knightship and there are a good many now saying Muslims are a subversive COLONIAL power growing like a cancer in the West. I watched part of a debate the other night between radical and moderate Islamic clerics in Ireland. The audience was virtually all Irish Catholic, and they were soaking it up. There are issues here that are not going away soon. Somalis claim to be 100% Muslim and get thoroughly upset when any other religion sets up shop in any of their degaans. This is human nature that is not limited to the Horn. I don't really know how serious this kind of article is, but I certainly don't find it surprising. NGONGE Posted June 18, 2007 I have now read the article and can't really see what the problem there is. MPAC is a much worse site than the Express.
Ibtisam Posted June 18, 2007 ^^^^Okay forget MPAC let's see what else we can find I suppose all these are also worse than Express: - this - and this - thisto name but a few are overreacting. No problem of course  you, you..... Grant most right wing newspapers have sugar coated their rubbish, but what suprises me is that this toliet roll just takes the biscuit! Even the BCC reported the baby boom and decline of White English babes so it is not the issue that concerns me but rather how they reported it, and lack of sources, sense and......! NGONGE Posted June 18, 2007 I agree with the part about their sources. The rest does not really matter that much. It's a tabloid paper read by 500,000 Britons (that is less than the entire population of Sheffield by the way).
Ibtisam Posted June 18, 2007 ^^Your point is??? If your point is that the damage is small, then i disagree, small out reach does not make it okay to insult and ignore your own house rules! ps. How come MPAC, which has no newspaper (they have an e-letter) and with only 10,000 daily hits bugs you, and worse than Express
NGONGE Posted June 18, 2007 ^^^ 10,000 daily MUSLIM hits is probably much more (as a percentage) than 500000 Brits. The Express preaches to the converted, my dear. Besides, MPAC seemed too obsessed with the comments of the readers of The Express than of the article itself! Look at the first two quotes in your firs post. Those words were not written by The Express, they were the comments made by average readers. Does that matter much? If it does to you, then go to the MPAC site and read the comments (by MPAC readers) replying to this article! It's that lovely old concept, Xan..FREEDOM OF SPEECH. N.O.R.F Posted June 19, 2007 NG I agree with the part about their sources. The rest does not really matter that much. It's a tabloid paper read by 500,000 Britons (that is less than the entire population of Sheffield by the way). Heh, according to the 2001 Census the population then was 513,234 (or should I put a decimal point in there ) and the population of Liverpool was 439,476 . Sheffield is the fourth city after Manchester (yuck) Anyway, I'm sure you two are aware of the Sheepskin Contract signed by the Brits in Somaliland
NGONGE Posted June 19, 2007 ^^ Heh. You must have thighs like an elephant, saaxib. All those strange hills and ugly old buildings! Ugly, ugly city.
N.O.R.F Posted June 19, 2007 LoL, well I have a better shot than Roberto Carlos . Its a beautiful place in the summer unlike Liverpool aka Leningrad 1942
Baluug Posted June 30, 2007 Honestly, I'm not worried about morons who write crap over the internet. Most of them would be too scared to cause any trouble in real life, so they resort to pretending like they're some sort of crazy right-wing radical from the safety of their computer desk. The rest of them that actually would cause trouble, would do it regardless of the trash written in publications such as this Express, and unfortunately that can't be avoided, but we can pray for the victims if they are Muslim. This is just a futile attempt to try to make Brits feel good for a second, until they realize that they will be an endangered species in 20 years.
