SOL Challenge - 3 day diet

Recommended Posts

Salaams,

I don't know if I have the patience or will power to do this nor the ingerdients for this. What I do know is, my coworker is trying it and many others have tried it and it works.

So here is the deal, I need encouragement from my SOL family. I need support....I need participants in this diet, in this challenge.

Do you want to fit in that jacket, pants, dress, etc...?

Do you want to feel better and look better in less then a week?

Do you want people to adore you and praise you?

Do you want even the cynics to adore you and praise you?

Well, then hope on and try the 3 day CHALLENGE:

This reads awful alot like a starvation to me. If you add it all up, it will come under 1200cals, which is dangerously low. You will lose weight at first(mostly muscle and water) then you will plateu. There is nothing magical about grape fruit and vanilla ice crea. I would suggest you do more research on what to eat. Salads, fruits, veggies, wheats and skim milk will do you far better than this. Good luck!

^Well by some objective measure it's called a diet. So it can't be a lot of food.

I don't get the point. So you do the diet and lose maybe a tenth of a pound. What does that really do for your long-term health.

Yes. My question to be exact. Suppose you do this for a month, lose about 10lbs and stop. And then, you start eating normally? Dont you gain the weight back? Your metabolism is so slow and is used to working with less that normal amounts of food will overflood your system. Diets dont work. You need to adapt a healthy eating style.

Yeah Somalis also think bleeding gum is a sign of effective brushing! Funny creatures:)

^I don't know about that. My dad used to brush vigourously with an old cadey and he did have bleeding sometimes. A while ago when he was in the hospital all the nurses kept asking him whether his teeth were real or not. An elderly gentelman from Africa with a full set in his mouth was quite a novelty.

So from our delightful little exchange of words we conclude that bleeding gums and obesity = good in Somali tradition :D;)
