Pi Posted June 6, 2006 SB: Dude, your somali, among other things, needs a makeover. LOL Translation of your quote: If you want to know the truth (reality) of her somaliness, come and sit on her lap, and I will whisper [the truth] into your ear. Pi Posted June 6, 2006 Classic Bloopers Castro on Homosexuality:- But I've been to gay pride parades before Sheikh Nur on Female Circumcsion: From ancients such as the Pharoahs of Egypt, female circumsition was seen as a way of controlling female sexual drives, the europeans used to have chastity belts, the assumption was by taking away part of her sensuality, she would easily fend off advances of men, men were not seen as the culprits, just women. However, when it comes the trade offs, one must seriously consider the unthinkable ( at least for foreign raised geel Jirto) that (Gudidda), at times may be preferable to serious aftermaths such as a runaway kid and abortion, just see your own mom, she is likely (waa la guday) and she brought you up the way you are, thats is the worse case and i do not condone the practice when we have a working system, unfortunately, we dont, thus the need to prioritize options, to select the best of the worst of two choices. Khayr (sheikh bum bum) on the flatness of the earth: Source More to come! Such a slow and boring day at work today.

My Somali is modest. I'll demonstrate. I know the difference between dirtey and direy. The former means call. The latter means send. Now, how you like 'em apples heh? Fiqikhayre Posted June 7, 2006 S_B, why are you embarrassed? I think it was quite a good afford for a non-Somali speaker like you. If you strive hard enough, then maybe one day you'll master our beautiful language, don't be discouraged or embarrassed you'll come through it inshallaah. BTW there a few non-Somali people, who have mastered Somali, so there's hope, although Somali is a very "difficult" language to learn for "outsiders" like you! Jacpher Posted June 7, 2006 Yaa Muqafal, embarrassment would be understatement is this case. I don’t know if you’re trying to be funny or serious but direy and dirtey are just the same. The only difference is that one is used for lab & the other for dhaddig. By the way, don't get discouraged, wixii kaa liita waad dhaantaa.
