Strawberry_Xu Posted April 27, 2006 ^^^ I found Order of the Phoenix to be the weakest in the series (it wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as any of the other books). Half-Blood Prince is my favourite actually. 1 - Les Miserables by Victor Hugo 2 - The Stand by Stephen King 3 - Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Jamilah Posted April 27, 2006 ^^ I completely agree with you Xu the most recent Harry Potter novel was undeniably the best in the series as for the order of the phoenix I recall steadfastly waited in a long queue only to discover it was not worth the wait. Too many books to decide which are my favourite...I will continue thinking about it

J.Lee Posted April 28, 2006 She killed him in that book. I still haven't forgiven her for it. My favorite novels: -In Cold blood (Genius, I want to be like Capote when I grow up) -Anatomy of the Restlessness (the "never meant to be published" copy) -Stiff (If you want to know about the world of cadavers or even think about donating your body for the progressive use of science, I highly suggest reading. Very funny) I read Animal Farm in my sophmore year of High school. Totally went over my head.
PhiL Posted April 28, 2006 As a certified bookworm, it was hard to limit myself to 3 books, but adhereing to the rules of the questions here are my 3 of the many favourites. In no particular order. 1. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevesky 2. Desperately Seeking Paradise: Journey of a Sceptical Muslim by Sardar Ziauddin 3. Long walk to freedom by Nelson Mandela.
