And xudun District.the duriyad also lives in parts of the laascanood district. Villages just. Outside of yagoori. Where as the garaad clan is dominant in laascanood District taleex  and big part of xudun.

What are you trying to sell Haji, that duriyada is qualified more seats in Sool?

Bahasha sida ay tahay u sheeg, majority of sool boycotted and hence Ainaba which yes participated got majority sool seats.

Nothing to spin

The sessionist project faced the biggest obstacles ever, they can not force SSC to take part in their clan agenda,  and without thinking  future consequences n foresight,  by trying to sell international community,  with elections,  it is shown nothing but this clan project,  and expose it on what it is.

We have been campaigning years for Makhiris not take part in secession project and this is successful now.

This is one of the reasons I don't like the arbitrary methods used in distributing MPs to the regions. This is what the late Cali Khaliif Galaydh (ilaahay ha u naxariisto) and president Silaanyo were negotiating before this election was agreed. I think the plan is now to conduct a national census before the next Parliamentary elections to distribute power fairly.

How does the current method work? Isn't it by constituency and every political party designate one person from that constituency as candidate?

They fielded many candidates and had low turnout so there candidates split their numbers getting less vote on average. That is why communities who fielded less number of candidates won more seats.  Same thing happened with the HJ in Burco 26 candidates for Burco's 15 seat bringing home measly 5 kursi while HY fielded 12 candidates bringing home a whopping 9 seats.

The elections are fair they should organize better next time.

The maakhir people have the right not to vote. Or to vote its up to them. This is democracy no one forces you. To vote. But if you have no say in the political matter of the  nation. Don't cry later

So Puntland is not a clan project? Joining Puntland is not qabyaalad? The 4.5 mashruuc is not qabyaalad? What you are doing is the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. At least the duriyada clan does not camouflage its intentions with hypocrisy and decided long ago that it has nothing to do with the qabyaalad bs of the reer AMISOM.

Yes but the population of each region is based on guess work rather than actual counting of the people. Only when the people of each region is counted properly then can power be distributed fairly.

They got 6 seats in Sool, the other MP is from H-clan not Duuriyada. Check your facts again.

You haven’t mentioned the candidate from MJ clan elected to Parliament from Sanaag. And other smaller non-Habro clans elected, even from Sahil region.

Somaliland is more divers then before, even let alone the many candidates from smaller lineages elected and many laandheers who did not get elected in to Parliament, that is a big change that showcasing less people are voting less along clan lines and according to their favorite clan which opens the door tor a different kind of politics.

And, yes Somaliland still has many other issues to resolve, but you have to admit we’re credit is due.
