Rooble seems to be very smart guy. 

Since the day he visited Saudi Arabia , a lot of influential people had approached him to run for president. There were some credible reports that Cumar Geele had offered him millions to run for president.

Rooble said, " both Shariif Ahmed and Hassan Sheikh had failed due to their premier challenging them to the precedency, and I will not flow that route"

The guy decided to stay with Farmaajo.

Khayre got bad advice. He should have kept quite for few years and come back 2025.

The opposition have 60 days now to regroup and present their front runner. Only a new commer can beat Farmaajo and the old team never gave a chance for the new people to present themself. This is their biggest mistake. They came short of damaging Farmaajo politically. He successfully out played them. After eight month when IC stopped their donations, he is still able to pay the salaries. It is very hard to see him losing now. Maintaining the status que is not option for Somali people.

To even remotely challenge Farmaajo they need to agree on one single candidate.

Is Hassan Sheikh willing to accept Shariif Ahmed? It is also depends how many votes each candidate gets for the first ballot. If they get the plurality of the numbers, they might gang up on Farmaajo and combine their votes. 

Interesting days are ahead.

Since Farmajo can't run for another term, his legacy assuming he wins should be giving a Roble a hand.  Roble should indeed stick with his boss.

Waa runtaa. Kheyre dad badan taageeradiisa u ahaa ayuu ka niyadjibiyey and now is almost an irrelevant politician. From the longest serving prime minister since the late C/rashiid to associating with warlords and spoilers in order to gain power.
