Centurion Posted January 26, 2008 I might be jumping the gun, but this is the latest on the BBC news website: Teenager dies after park attack Police believe the attack happened after the man got off a bus A teenager has died in hospital after an attack with a "blunt instrument" in a west London park. Police found Fuad Buraleh , 19, from Hayes, after they were called to Dean Gardens, West Ealing, in the early hours of the morning. He was taken to hospital but died 40 minutes later from head injuries. A murder inquiry has been launched. Dean Gardens and part of Uxbridge Road have been closed while forensic experts examine the area. Bus dispute A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said detectives believed the victim had been out socialising in the Ealing area before he was attacked. He is believed to have been making his way home with a friend when they got into a dispute after getting off a bus on Northfield Avenue, close to where he was found. A post-mortem examination is taking place at Uxbridge mortuary and his next of kin have been informed.

Aaliyyah Posted January 27, 2008 We must do something about our youth, before it is too late. For instance, invest in after school programs so we can keep our Somali kids/youth on the right track. I am sure money won't be the problem, since fundraise events could be held. The problem that somali community is facing is not financial setback, but rather they cant plan or invest in the effort that is needed to form such programs. p.s. ilaahay ha u naxariisto wiilkan sabar iyo imaana dadkiisa haka siiyo
Lois Lane Posted January 27, 2008 ^^^ I couldnt agree more with you AAliyah! Althought it might be too late and I dont really know the exact curcumstances of the young boy's death. I believe more effort should be spent in guiding our youth in the diaspora. They are tomorrow. Ilaahay ha u naxariisto Ameen
Mowgli Posted January 27, 2008 Inna lillaahi waa inna ilaahi rajucuun I was very sad to hear about Fuad's death...when I met him he seemed to be a young man who had the weight of the world on his shoulders May those responsible be brought to justice, may Allah swt give his family sabr iyo imaan and grant Fuad janatul Fardos PS Slash, let us not be too quick at pointing the finger, the last time an attempt was made on his life there were no Somalis involved.
