I find most of our dadkeena with great animosity towards Arabs, especially those who had transited in their countries. Someone should explain that for me, because I only remember the times we generally used to praise the Arabs to an extent of linking our lineages to them, and belittling other somalis who used to insiste as plain somalis without arab traits in their lineages.

Saxib that is a conclusion i have come just recently. Think about it. Every Arab country is now developed or still developing. Who orchastrated the developments?. With all that is going on in the UAE, who actually designs, engineers, constructs, consults on all the projects going on there at the moment? Yes, non-Arabs. Its got to the stage where Arab countries employ foreign firms to do 100% of the works.

 

Now coming back to the topic of whacko jacko, why would:

 

a) the Bahrain officials invite him?

b) how do they see this being an investment opportunity (most investors will run a mile if they realise jacko is in town)

c) neverland will mealt under the summer heat

d) oh yeah, they will get some foreign firms to construct jackos new house because they do not have the knowledge to do it internally

Jackson stirs controversy in UAE

Rock star Michael Jackson has stirred a small controversy in the United Arab Emirates by entering the ladies room in a shopping mall.

 

His publicist said Jackson, who arrived in Dubai this week as the guest of a champion rally driver, did not understand the Arabic sign on the door and left the bathroom as soon as he realised his mistake.

 

But local newspapers reported that the 47-year-old performer was spotted applying make-up in the women's toilets in a Dubai mall.

 

Jackson's host, Mohammed bin Sulayem, dismissed the story as rumour.

 

"Upon his exit, he was recognised and a crowd ensued. He had to wait in a nearby bookstore until police arrived to escort him through the crowd," the statement said.
