Saalax Posted May 14, 2021 Construction material for the port has arrived. A new location for the port isn't even needed, that natural harbor can be enlarged.
maakhiri1 Posted May 15, 2021 Masha Allah, Great news. This is going to be Sanaag year. Both lasqorey and Maydh have natural harbour, and don't even need breakwater, as sea is calm most of the year.

During the early 20th century and 19th century natural ports of Sanaag (Ankor, Raguda, Shalcaw, Xiis, Maydh & Xarshaw) use to export more than the entire Puntland. Duufaan Posted May 15, 2021 Congratulation for maydh port. It will benefit the community who live there but also it will increase the competitions. I remember Maydh and Laasqoray been important ports. The roads need be fixed too. Golis maintains have never been easy.

The road connecting Maydh & Ceerigaabo known as Tabca is also under construction.
