Deeq A. Posted May 7, 2021 Bosaso (PP News Desk) — Sixty Yemeni refugee families and Somali returnees have in Bosaso earlier today. Puntland Interior Ministry officials welcomed the refugees and returnees. Refugees will be registered and temporarily accommodated in a camp in Bosaso before being transferred to Qardho district, which hosts the largest number of Yemeni refugees in Puntland. Yemeni refugees will be transferred to Qardho after registration with Puntland Interior Ministry and UNHCR. Local business leaders have donated food and tents for the new refugees. Since 2015 Puntland State has been hosting Yemeni refugees, who fled the civil war in Yemen.
