I would encourage those of you who are college students. Hours are flexible and can be worked around with your class schedule. Below are the benefits of being a member. For this particular position: You’ll be working in Mpls/St.paul area non-profit organization and help/train clients with computer classes. Ideal candidate would be someone with computer background. * A living allowance of $10,197/year paid out over 24 equal pay periods in exchange for 1,700 hours of service – an average of 35 hours each week. * A $4,725 education award upon the completion of 1,700 hours of service. * Health Insurance for the member at no cost. * Student loans are placed in forbearance for the duration of member's service and the government pays the interest. * Childcare assistance if eligible. * Training in communication, citizenship, ethics, life skills, disaster response and preparedness, community resources and benefits counseling. * A member may serve for two years.
