Jacpher Posted July 29, 2005 I thought I would be a good idea to have some sort of test in place for those applying Somali citizenship or passport; that's when we get a government. What kind of test would you give to the applicants. Since it's difficult to proof applicants' Somali(ness), I would start with the following to verify. 1. Kuun Kuun Lamina 2. Kabteey Bilataa 3. Dhakac Dhakac 4. Hal Lugeey/Lug ka bood 5. Gariir/Imbiili 6. Baliil/Boojo 7. First Somali men/women died for the country 8. Some names of provinces/cities 9. National anthem 10. Knowledge of brief history of the country, resources. Please add your ideas/test if you will.

Knowledge of brief history of the country, resources: Somalia was born in 1960, after a couple years it grew into a strong toddler who, around the late 70's, fell ill. Its condition instead of improving over the years (much to everybody's dismay) worsened. Around 1988 it went into coma though after 17 years it still clings to life, there is no hope of it ever gaining conscientious.

National anthem Was it guulwadoo Siyaad? I don't remember. But I remember clearly my dad singing guulwasoo Siyaad. More appropriate for Afweyne, I guess. 10. Knowledge of brief history of the country, resources. Beautiful land, beautiful people (at least the women) and a tragic story all around. Now do I pass? All I need is 50%, right? Jacpher Posted July 30, 2005 Guulwadoow Siyaad Aabihii Garashada Gaygayagoo is not the national anthem guys. Shame on you! Just kidding. When I was in grading school, kids changed the letter L to S which alters the whole meaning. Some of the kids were punished for saying such words in the presence of the principal/teachers. For those of you that don’t know, the first six were childhood plays that most of us spend lots of time playing. My favorite was TALAC if you know what I mean. Kabteey Bilataa Ha bilato wasn’t bad. You end up hiding with the girl of your interest until the rest of the gang find you. No one seems to get GARIIR. I guess none of you is from Baydhabo. Kan godka dhagaxyada lagu guro waxaan u naqiinay Aay-aay. It’s girls thing. At least in my region. I think some Hal xiraale or Googaa Cadalle would stir up the challenge. Let me start with these. Please add some. I say Googaa, you say Cadalle. 1. Wax aad u jeedo aadna gaari karin? 2. Wax xayawaanku ka xishoodo, ragguna ka xishoon?
