Mohamed Ali Mohamed is running the 5000 in Berlin, though he has now been left behind. Like the nation itself.

But I'd like to say, good job man!

When in nineteen eighties Abdi Bile Abdi won in Italy, and the nation became jubilant of the victory he achieved, his mother, it was said, become quite perplexed about the whole thing. When she was informed that the nation is celebrating because her son outran other nations sons, kii markuu iga cararo iisoo qaban jirey baa joogee maa isaga la tartansiiyo bay tiri :D .

Although he isn't running for Somalia Mo Farah finished 3rd in his semi heat for the 5000 m and will compete in the final tommmorow. He's an oustside medal contender, so if he gets lucky he might be able to get some hardware.

^Mo Farah has improved alot, I'd say. I thought yesterday's run was just a warm up for him, and a way of not wasting energy for the finals after tomorrow. I think he can do alot better this time around.

Nin-yaaban, waa runtaa. Our runner most probably went to the Athletics out of his own personal will and determination to give it a shot, but like you said, with better practice and training, he can put himself in a medal position. Good luck to him and us too.
