Xiin, Sharon's moves are double-edged. There is a chance that Bush himself might have given his seal-of-approval to these recent evacuation, but for a sinister reason. The signals such Israeli evacuations send to the Arab (Iraq especially) and Muslim world, is meant to fool us into thinking 'the winds of fortune are changing', when in fact, its a double loss for the palestinians. Firstly, they gain little piece of land in Gaza and lose a bigger chank of Jerusalaam (and west bank). Secondly, the global sympathy for the palestinian cause withers away as everyone is now thinking Bush and co. have atlast done something for the palestinians. Its a lose-lose situation.
