Inshallah the peace and the tranquillity will return in Mogadishu and the rest of the country. We shall never loose hope because Allah is our hope Inshallah. Enjoy the video. Socod_badne Posted April 10, 2008 Xamar was and still is crappy city. I don't get what people find so appealing about this city. Even at the pinnacle of its glory days, it paled in comparison to other 3rd world capitals. No proper sanitation. No coherent city planning strategy. Streets weren't named and houses weren't numbered, so forgot about getting your mail delivered to your home. Rolling blackouts were the norm not the exception. Water was on and off. And to give you an idea of how underdeveloped Xamar was, when the Americans were building their multi-million dollar sprawling Embassy, a joke making the rounds was when the Embassy is completed S.
